FSV Salmrohr

The FSV Salmrohr 1921 eV is a German football club from Salmtal ( district Bernkastel -Wittlich in Rhineland -Palatinate).

History

The biggest success in club history recorded the club in 1986. As vice - champion of the Amateur Oberliga West, he qualified for the Play-Offs Group South to the 2nd Bundesliga, as the master Wormatia Worms was not approved by the DFB result of broken rules. Salmrohr hit the SSV Ulm 1846 thanks in part to a superior performance of the former international's Klaus Toppmöller and gates by Klaus -Dieter Augst, Edgar Schmitt and Raimund Brittner 3-1 at home and peaked at Kickers Offenbach 2-2, with Herbert Herre and turn Edgar Schmitt scored the goals and also world champion Bernd Hölzenbein was used for Salmrohr.
