Fu River (Sichuan)

The river Fu Jiang or Fujiang (涪江, Fú Jiang ) is a tributary of the Jialing Jiang in southwest China. It rises in the south of the district Jiuzhaigou in the border area to the circle Sungqu ( Songpan ) on the Xuebaoding雪宝顶, the main peak of Minshan Mountains (岷山, Min Shan) in China's Sichuan Province and flows southeastward through the county Pingwu by Jiangyou, Mianyang, Santai, the circle shehong, Suining and in the area of Chongqing by Tongnan and finally Hechuan, where it flows into the Jialing Jiang. It is about 700 km long and navigable by Pingwu to Hechuan.
