Since Fuchsia boliviana is sensitive to frost, it can be cultivated in Europe only in the greenhouse.

Origin

Fuchsia boliviana comes from Bolivia. It grows in mountainous regions at altitudes between 2000 and 3000 meters, especially in Ecuador, southern Peru and northern Argentina.
