Fuefuki, Yamanashi
Fuefuki (Japanese笛 吹 市, - shi) is a city located in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan.
Geography
Fuefuki is located east of Kofu and west of Otsuki.
History
The city was on 12 October 2004 by the merger of Chō Ichinomiya (一 宫 町, chō ), Isawa (石 和 町, chō ) Misaka (御 坂 町, chō ), Yatsushiro (八 代 町, chō ) and the mura Sakaigawa (境 川村, -mura ) from the Higashiyatsushiro -gun, and the chō Kasugai (春日 居 町, chō - ) founder of the Higashiyamanashi -gun. With the incorporation of the Mura Ashigawa (境 川村, -mura ) from the Higashiyatsushiro -gun on 1 August 2006 it was wound up.
