Fuheis ( الفحيص ) is a city in the province of al - Balqa in Jordan. The city, which in 1962 became a city lies approximately 20 kilometers north- west of Amman. The approximately 13,171 inhabitants are predominantly Catholic and Orthodox Christians who have settled there since 1874.
