Fujifilm X-Pro1

The Fujifilm X -Pro1 is a mirrorless digital camera system, which was introduced in January 2012 and since March 2012, is available. It is part of Fujifilm's X - series and the first digital system camera that uses a stochastic sensor.

Features

  • Resolution: 16 megapixels on X -Trans CMOS sensor in APS-C size
  • Fujifilm X - bayonet lens mount
  • Hybrid viewfinder that uses either electronically or optically
  • Flash Connection for TTL flashes and sync connector

Fujifilm X -Trans CMOS sensor

Instead of a Bayer sensor, a different sampling method is used, which is called the X -Trans manufacturer. The pixel pattern is more complex than a Bayer sensor, it is 6 × 6 pixels. This has the following advantages:

  • The moiré effect is minimized, especially moire in each color. X -Pro1 dispensed therefore an anti-aliasing filter.
  • In each line, each color is represented. This allows red and blue line pairs are better resolved. Green line pairs or other structures remain unchanged on the resolution.
  • The measurable resolution is improved for multiple color areas, which improves the overall resolution.

Fujifilm alleging, among other things, at the resolution of full frame sensors to achieve.

With this arrangement, the pixel distance is tripled to repeat arrangement, the face of a basic cell is nine times as large. The geometric characteristics of the classic film in which never occurs, and a repetition of the color particles are dispersed completely stochastically are not achieved.

Hybrid viewfinder

With the hybrid viewfinder, the photographer can either visually or through an overlaid display to compose the image. Thus, the depth of field and the exact cut for telephoto or macro settings can be selected. Here, the camera behaves like a EVIL camera.

Fujifilm lenses for X-Pro1

Fujifilm has introduced simultaneously with the X -mount lenses following:

  • Fujinon XF18mmF2 R 18mm fixed focal length ( 27 mm camera equivalent) Aperture: 2.0-16, filter ⌀ 52mm

  • Zeiss Makro-Planar T * 2.8/50

The X -Mount has a flange focal length of 17.7 mm. Lenses may approximately 7.5 mm into the camera body.

Lens Adapter for X - bayonet

Among other things, for the following lenses there are adapters:

  • Leica M
  • Contax G
  • Nikon with or without aperture ring ( G lenses )
  • Canon FD
  • Minolta-MC/MD
  • Pentax K -
  • Yashica C / Y

With lenses that are connected via an adapter, the AF and the time delay mode can not be used.
