Fujiwara no Ietaka
Fujiwara no Ietaka (Japanese藤原 家 隆, or in a respectful reading Fujiwara no Karyu, * 1158, † May 5, 1237 ) was a Japanese waka poet. He was also called Mibu Nihon (壬 生 二 品).
Life
Fujiwara was the son of the poet Jakuren ( Fujiwara no Sadanaga ). He was one of the circle of poets, the anthology of poems Shinkokin - Wakashū created at the court of the Emperor Go- Toba. A collection of poems was published under the title Mini - Shuu (壬 二 集) or Gyokugin Shuu. More than 280 of his poems were included in the Senzai shū (千载 集) and other imperial poetry collections. He held the " following the Second court rank ."
