Fujiwara no Kanesuke
Fujiwara no Kanesuke (Japanese藤原 兼 辅, also:中 纳 言 兼 辅, Chūnagon Kanesuke or堤 中 纳 言Tsutsumi Chūnagon; * 877, † 21 March 933 ) was a Japanese waka poet and aristocrat of the Heian period. He is one of the Thirty-Six Immortals of Poetry.
One of his poems was included in the famous Waka Anthology Hyakunin Isshu. His poems were selected for the imperial poetry anthologies Kokin - Wakashū and Gosen - Wakashū.
His father was Fujiwara no toshimoto, his mother came from the Ōtomo clan. Kanesuke was married to the daughter of Fujiwara no Sadakata. With her he had five sons.
