Fujiwara no Okikaze

Fujiwara no Okikaze (Japanese藤原 兴 风; dates unknown ) was a Japanese waka poet of the Heian period. He is one of the Thirty-Six Immortals of Poetry.

He was a great-grandson of Fujiwara no HAMANARI and got 914 with the Shimousa no gon no Daijō (下 総 権 大 掾) a high post in the administration of the province Shimousa.

Okikazes poems are part of several imperial poetry anthologies such as the Kokin - Wakashū. Also the poem 34 of the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu is from Fujiwara no Okikaze.
