Fulmar (rocket)

The Fulmar was a two-stage British sounding rocket. Developed by Bristol Aerojet Fulmar consisted of a starting stage of type Heron with 107 kN thrust and a Snipe - sixth with 16.7 kN of thrust. The Fulmar had a diameter of 26 cm and a length of 7.47 m. She weighed at the start of 500 kg and could reach a height of 250 km.

The Fulmar was started between 1976 and 1979 six times by the Norwegian Andøya Rakettskytefelt, the last launch on 19 March 1979 failed and only 15 km altitude reached. It was never built in series.
