Fun'ya no Yasuhide

Fun'ya no Yasuhide (Japanese文 屋 康 秀, alternative spelling:文琳; * Date of birth unknown; † 885? ) Was a Japanese poet and nobleman of the Heian period. He is among the six best waka poets and to the Thirty-Six Immortals of Poetry of the Middle Ages.

Five of his poems were included in the Kokinshu, another in the collection Goshūi Wakashū. In addition, you can find one of his poems in the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu.

His son was the poet Fun'ya no Asayasu.
