Funabashi, Chiba

Funabashi (Japanese船 桥 市, -shi ) is a city in Chiba Prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.

To fishing grounds and one of the largest fish markets are on the coast Funabashis to the Pacific Ocean in the region. In addition, in the city of steel and wood products are made.

Geography

Funabashi is located east of Tokyo and Ichikawa, Chiba west and south of Kashiwa in the Bay of Tokyo.
