The Funabashi Station (Japanese船 桥 駅, Funabashi eki ) is located in the city of Funabashi in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Located just 200 meters to the south also Keisei Funabashi Station (京 成 船 桥 駅, Keisei Funabashi eki ) Keisei Dentetsu.

History

Funabashi station

On July 20, 1894, the station was opened by the private sobu tetsudō as a passenger and freight station for those sobu line. On September 1, 1907, the station was nationalized and became the property of the state railway authority, the predecessor of the Ministry of Railways and National Railways. On December 23, 1927, the Tōbu tetsudō opened just north of the existing station then her head station as the end of today's Noda Line. On October 1, 1974, the cargo handling was abandoned at the train station and on April 1, 1989, the station went into the possession of the products resulting from the privatization of the state railway JR East.

Keisei Funabashi

On December 30, 1916, the Keisei Dentetsu opened its station at ground level. Funabashi station
