Fundamenta Mathematicae

Fundamenta Mathematicae is a mathematical journal with a focus on basic research in mathematics.

It was founded in 1920 by the Polish mathematicians from Warsaw mathematician Waclaw Sierpiński school, Stefan Mazurkiewicz and Zygmunt Janiszewski and published in Warsaw. Today, the magazine of the Mathematics Institute of the Polska Akademia Nauk will be supported.

The impact factor of the journal was in 2012 at 0.529. In the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge, the magazine ranked 167th out of 295 journals in the category under consideration mathematics.
