Five star deluxe ( FSd ) was a German hip- hop group, the marcnesium from the rappers Das Bo, Tobi Tobsen, the designer and until 2003 also DJ Cool man insisted.
History
The Bo ( Mirko Bogojevic ) and Tobi Tobsen ( Tobias Schmidt) had in the mid- 90s as Tobi & the Bo with the album "Genius and madness are close together ", and accompanying singles " The Racka " and " Tomorrow the bomb " made high in the hip- hop scene a name. On this album yet followed a publication called "genius and madness ... ( We are the Best Ofs ) " and the singles " Is' I do not care " and " We are the best" before mid-1997 with marcnesium (Marc Clausen ) the also met with DJ Koze as Adolf Noise in appearance, and DJ Cool man ( Mario Cullmann ) to five-star deluxe brief break. Tobi was previously a member of the English-speaking Hamburg hip hop crew Poets of Peeze and with his brother Oli in the original cast of Fettes Brot. Five star deluxe attempted a comeback with 2004 's third EP We are in the house, but hardly attracted attention. They played in the summer of the year again on the large outdoor festivals and included performances by the second time after 2001 when more rock -oriented Hurricane Festival. The planned third album was no more and more new releases from five star deluxe end of 2004 after their separation in sight.
In August 2013, the group ventured a comeback: As part of Hamburg's cultural summer, the group performed at the concert along with other " beats on the track " on August 28th in Hamburg. Solo careers
In addition to five-star deluxe to DJ Cool man occupied with his own label Hong Kong Recordings on which was the group dual head under contract. The Bo has his solo album Best of III after a long hiatus in 2004 - published Alone with the singles Are you ready for Bo and I rap for you. The releases were commercially very successful. The Bo separated from the label Yo Mama, that finally gave up after economic difficulties and the associated acquisition (2003) by Four Music / Berlin after the end of FSd 2005. 2005 The Bo went on tour with Deicide and was a guest the singles How cool is that? with Jansen & Kowalski and to Ey Yo with DJ Tomekk. Even at FSd times ( since 2001) held the two in Hamburg 's " moonbootica " parties. This developed over the years into Hamburg's most famous electric event for up to 3000 guests. The moonbootica is currently held every three months.
