Funky (artist)

Funky, civic, Luis Marrero, ( born January 23, 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico ) is a Mexican- American musician and representatives of the Christian Reggaeton.

Life

Marrero grew up in Mexico and lived in New Orleans. In 1995, Marrero to become a musician, he went with his longtime friend Vico C back to San Juan, trying to get a record deal there decided. The two failed in the reggaeton labels. In 1997 they recorded together a demo on which they got a record deal with Universal. Funky published in 1999 his debut album with the name Funky Town. Then he opened the same year his own label Funky Town Music.
