Fürberg (Bavarian Forest)

The 880 -meter-high Furberg one of the smaller mountains in the Bavarian Forest in the town of Kirchberg im Wald.

At the top there is the stone plate, an interesting rock formation with summit cross and views south to the higher Brotjacklriegel. A little further down is the Fürbergkapelle, which can be achieved through a crossroads of Untermitterdorf. The Furberg can climb to the hiking trails in a short time, starting points are the small towns Raindorf, Untermitterdorf or Berneck.
