Futur3

The independent theater collective Futur3 was founded in 2003 by the actors André Erlen, Stefan H. Kraft and Klaus Maria toe in Cologne. In addition, the musician Mariana Sadovska and the author and playwright Klaus Fehling are involved in almost all productions of the group.

The pieces are often developed in improvisations from documentary material and autobiographical elements of the participants for the venues in public space. Authors are integrated by the award of write requests in the work (and in the ensemble ).

Futur3 is a founding member of the Free Trade Area Network Ensemble Cologne and has gained national importance by various festival participation and cooperation at home and abroad. The premiere of the play Raumung in the city of Claudia Klischat was for the prize of the festival Theaterzwang 2006 - festival of independent theater NRW - nominated. The production Vater.Mutter.Hund. (2007) was invited to Theaterzwang Festival 2008 and, like the productions was A Night in Afghanistan (2010) and Peter Berg 1 Nominations for the Cologne Dance and Theatre Prize. The latter was awarded in 2010 with both the Cologne Theatre Prize and the Kurt- Hackenberg Award for political theater.
