Future Combat Systems Recovery and Maintenance Vehicle

The XM1205 Recovery and Maintenance Vehicle ( FRMV ) (German recovery and maintenance vehicle ) was a United States Army project. It was part of the Future Combat Systems program. In an implementation, it would be part of the military Global Information Grid.

System Description

The vehicle performs a 2- 6köpfige repair troupe in to perform recovery actions. For self defense the vehicle is equipped with a MK -19 automatic grenade launcher or the ACSW. With the completion of the FCS program by Defense Secretary Robert Gates, the project was discontinued.
