G-flat major

G-flat major is a major key of Tongeschlechts that builds sat on the root. The key of G major is written in standard notation with six ♭ (b, it, as, the, total, ces ). The corresponding scale and the basic chord in this key ( the tonic ges -b -des ) are designated by the term G flat major.

Works in G flat major place relatively rare in the literature. Particularly well known is the Impromptu in G flat major, Op 90/3 by Franz Schubert, in the older issues ( starting with the first print issue), however, the ease of reading was hochtransponiert half to G major. It is often changed enharmonically in the pieces to F # minor.
