G.T. Hogan

Wilbert Granville Theodore 'G. T. " Hogan, Jr. ( born January 16, 1929 in Galveston, Texas; † August 7, 2004 in San Antonio, Texas) was an American drummer of modern jazz.

G.T. Hogan played from the mid- 1950s, especially with Randy Weston, sometimes also with Lionel Hampton and 1959 with Bud Powell in Paris. He was a member of the 1961 International Jazz Quartet with Bobby Jaspar, Attila Zoller and Eddie de Haas. Hogan took, inter alia, Plates with Earl Bostick, Cal Massey, Elmo Hope, Walter Bishop, Kenny Dorham Kenny Drew and.
