Gabby (film series)
Gabby is a male cartoon character that was created in the studios of Max Fleischer. The distribution of the cartoons was about Paramount Pictures.
His first appearance as a town constable he had in the animated film Gulliver's Travels in the year 1939. Due to the film success was built during the years 1940 to 1941 a small series about the adventures of Gabby. Gabby was voiced by Pinto Colvig.
In 1955 the rights of the character to the U.M. & M. T.V. Corp.. sold. The company eventually became part of National Telefilm Associates, this in turn was bought out by Republic Pictures. 1999 Gabby returned to the possession of Paramount Pictures Viacom subsidiary. Today the cartoons in America are public domain titles.
