Gábor Szalafai

Gábor Szalafai [ ga ː bor sɒlɒfɒ.i ] (born 13 April 1985) is a Hungarian handball player.

The 1.96 meter tall and 88 kilogram right winger stands at Gyöngyösi KK under contract. Previously, he played with Dunaferr SE, Gyori ETO KC. With these two clubs he played in the EHF Cup ( seasons 2003/ 04, 2007/ 08, 2009/10) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2008/ 09).

Gábor Szalafai threw in ten appearances for the Hungarian national team ten goals (as of December 2013); he stood in the squad Hungary for the European Handball Championship in 2010 and in the extended squad for the European Championship 2014.
