Gabriel Axel

Gabriel Axel (actually Gabriel Axel Mørch; born April 18, 1918 in Aarhus, Denmark, † February 9, 2014 in Copenhagen) was a Danish film director, screenwriter and actor.

Life

He grew up in Paris and went 18 years back to Denmark to work at the Danish Aarhus Theatre as an actor. After returning to Paris, he played with Louis Jouvet with plays.
