Gabriel Caballero

Gabriel Caballero ( born February 5, 1971 in Santa Fe ) is a former Mexican football player of Argentine origin, mostly acted in midfield.

Life

Association

Caballero began his professional career at the Argentine Club Central Cordoba de Rosario, where he was between 1989 and the end of 1993 under contract. He then moved to the Chilean club Deportes Antofagasta, in which he played in 1994 and 1995 and in whose ranks he 1995 top scorer in the Chilean league was. He then went to Mexico, where he remained until the end of his active career, and thus for a total period of 15 years. At first, he played in the Mexican Primera División for Santos Laguna, with whose team he won the championship in the winter of 1996 and half a year later scorer in the Mexican soccer league was. National
