Gabriel Strobl

Gabriel Strobl ( born November 3, 1846 in Unzmarkt, Styria, † March 15, 1925 at pin Admont ) was a priest and entomologist.

Gabriel Strobl grew after the death of his mother with his aunt in rotting man. 1866, at the age of 20, he was Father 's Benedictine Abbey of Admont. The data collected by Strobl Fly and Beetle (except exotic, ie non-European) are located at the Natural History Museum of the pin Admont like all butterflies. The exotic beetles and cicadas and all Hymenoptera are the Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz. The hoverflies (via HR Meyer) are located in the Hessian State Museum in Darmstadt.
