Gabriel Urdaneta

Gabriel José Urdaneta Rangel ( born January 7, 1976 in Mérida ) is a Venezuelan football player, he plays at the position of midfielder.

Gabriel Urdaneta began his career at Caracas Fútbol Club. For the season 2000/ 01 he moved to FC Luzern in the National League A, where he remained one and a half seasons before moving to SV Waldhof Mannheim in the 2nd Bundesliga. In Mannheim he could not enforce, so he returned during the 2003/ 04 season to Switzerland for FC Lugano. Since he also hardly used here, he moved at the end of the season once again, this time for SC Kriens in the Challenge League, where he was regularly employed. For the season 2004 /05 of Venezuelans moved to BSC Young Boys, where he came in his second season barely used, so he moved on to FC Vaduz. At the end of the 2005/06 season, FC Vaduz dissolved the contract with Urdaneta. He switched to UA Maracaibo back to Venezuela.
