Gabriele Colombo
Gabriele Colombo ( born May 11, 1972 in Varese ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.
Sporting career
Gabriele Colombo began his career in 1994 with the Italian cycling lineup certainty Ballan. He, in 1995, already for the first time in the Tour de France and won a stage. A year later he celebrated his greatest success when he won the cycling Monument Milan-San Remo. That same year, he could still win the Giro di Sardegna.
In 1999 he then moved to Cantina Tollo, where he again finished third on a stage of the Giro d' Italia 2001. After changing to Domina Vacanze 2003 he was also again stage second behind Fabio Baldato. 2007 ended Colombo his cycling career.
