Gabriele Haupt

Gabriela main ( born July 1, 1943 as Gabriela Nobis in Zwickau ) is a former German cross country skier.

She started for the SC Dynamo Klingenthal and internationally for the German Democratic Republic. Main participated in the Olympic Games Winter Olympic Games in 1972 in Sapporo part. At the World Cup 1970 in Strebske Pleso they won in the 3x5 - km relay together with Renate Fischer and Anna Unger the silver medal. That was the first medal in Nordic skiing in the women for the GDR. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Sapporo, it reached over 5 km course 20, over 10 km square and 18 in the relay 5th place with the 3 x 5 km relay their club was four times GDR champion, 1971, she was DDR Champion over 10 km single. There were also additional medal winnings.
