Gabriele Hooffacker

Gabriele Hooffacker ( born February 10, 1959 in Munich) is a German journalist and journalism teacher. She teaches at the University of Technology, Economy and Culture in Leipzig.

Life

Gabriele Hooffacker studied German, history and economics at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich. Meanwhile, she worked in the Monumenta Historica Germaniae. In 1986 she was awarded his doctorate with a thesis on broadsheets of the 17th century.

Together with Peter and other Lokk she founded in 1987 mailbox network for environmental, women's, peace and human rights groups (from 1991: CL- network).
