Gabriele Mehl

Gabriele flour ( born February 25, 1967 in Hagenbach ) is a retired German rower who won an Olympic bronze medal in 1992.

Gabriele flour started for the rowing club on Lake Baldeney in Essen. In 1987 and 1988 she attended together with Meike Dutch in two without coxswain each second place in the German Championship. At the World Cup in 1987, both started in the aft and occupied the fifth place; at the 1988 Olympic Games, they reached only the B-final, who won the eighth.

1990 were flour and Dutch along with Cerstin Petermann and Sylvia Dördelmann in four without coxswain at. After winning the German championship title they occupied at the World Championships in Tasmania in second place behind the Romanian boat, but before the foursome from the GDR. 1991 after the unification of the two German rowing federations were Petermann and flour from the West German foursome along with Judith Zeidler and Kathrin Haacker from the GDR four. After winning the German championship, the boat took in the World Cup third place behind the boats from Canada and the United States.

Only Gabriele flour started in 1992 in four, were added Antje Frank, Birte Siech and as a blow Annette mockery. At the Olympic Games in 1992 the boat as last year finished third behind the boats from Canada and the United States. In 1993, the foursome with Ina Justh for Annette Hohn won again the German Cup, for Gabriele flour it was in this boat class, the fourth title in a row.
