Gabriele Pin

Gabriele Pin ( born January 21, 1962 in Vittorio Veneto, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer and current coach. He is currently under Cesare Prandelli assistant coach for the Italian national team.

Playing career

Gabriele Pin began playing football in the youth of Juventus. In 1979 he was picked up by Giovanni Trapattoni in the professional squad and celebrated despite only a mission to win the Championship 1980 / 81st He then moved over the U.S. Sanremese and the AC Forlì AC Parma. In 1985 pin as now seasoned first division back to Juventus. This year he celebrated, again Trapattoni with Juve again the championship as well as winning the World Cup.

Then pin changed for seven years to league rivals Lazio, for whom he played nearly 200 league games in which he scored 15 goals. Great success, however, not reach him at the Laziali. Coaching career

Gabriele Pin rose as coach in 1999, a youth of Parma and was promoted in 2001 to assistant coach Renzo Ulivieri. After his departure in 2002, he became assistant to Cesare Prandelli. With this he went further in 2004 to AS Roma, where Prandelli however early due to family problems announced his resignation. In 2005, then followed by an engagement at Fiorentina, where they remained until 2010, and the Fiorentina formed on a top team.

After Marcello Lippi's resignation as coach of the Italian national team Prandelli was engaged as head coach, Pin was the assistant coach there. Together you could be 2012 European Vice Champion at the European Championships.
