GAC Group

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (GAC, founded in 2000 ) is the largest automobile manufacturer in South China. The company operates in the city of Guangzhou joint venture with Honda ( Honda City ) and Toyota. From Fiat (Alfa 166) platform and engines were purchased. A targeted joint venture with Mitsubishi ( MoU in November 2010) focuses on the production of pickups and SUVs.

In the middle class and the small car segment, the Automobile Guangzhou Automobile Group was in 2010 with 724 200 vehicles the sixth largest automobile manufacturer in the People's Republic of China.
