The Gachibowli Indoor Stadium is a sports hall in Hyderabad.

History

The arena was built in 2002 by the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, which still operates the hall today. In the main hall of 4000 seats are available. The Arena offers opportunities for all popular sports, ranging from basketball, handball to tennis, squash and badminton. As a major event among others, the Badminton World Championship 2009 was held in the hall.
