Gada Ale

Gada Ale (also Kebrit Ale ) is a 287 m high basalt volcano in Ethiopia. He rises from the Koba - Valley (115 feet below sea level ), in the Afar Triangle, in the Afar region.

The stratovolcano is located about 3 km south of the north shore of Karumsees and forms the northern end of the Erta Ale volcano chain, one at this location 13 km wide volcanic chain with the famous Erta Ale volcano, which is still active, in contrast to Gada Ale. The crater has a diameter of 350 m and from the summit, 100 meters deep.
