Gadara Aqueduct

The Gadara Aqueduct ( Qanat Fir'aun ) was a Roman aqueduct to supply the Decapolis cities Adraa in today's Syria and Abila ( Perea ) and Gadara in present-day Jordan. The 170 km long trail, which was built in the qanat construction, had a 94 km long tunnel, which is considered the longest in the antiquity. The well- taken under Hadrian 129/130 AD in attack building was never fully completed and was only partially operational. The aqueduct was discovered in 2004 and scientifically researched.
