Gaelic handball
Irish Handball, better known as Gaelic handball ( ir Liathróid Láimhe ), one of the ball games and in these especially to the non-return games.
There is a Basque pelota ball related sport. The sport is maintained as a traditional Irish sport of the Gaelic Athletic Association and is also in countries with Irish immigrant communities ( such as USA, Australia) spread.
The game is played according to different rules:
- 40x20: " International Rules", 40 x 20 feet Size of field with a blue rubber ball, gloves and eye protection are required
- 60x30: 60 x 30 foot field size with a larger, red rubber ball, gloves and eye protection are not required
- One Wall: front wall with 20 x 16 feet and a pitch of 20 x 34 feet with a ball, which is comparable to the racquetball
- Hardball: 60 x 30 feet Size of field with a ball of cork and leather
