Gaëlle Thalmann

Gaëlle Thalmann (born 18 January 1986) is a Swiss football player.

Career

Association

Thalmann began her career at the age of eleven years at FC Bulle. She then played for FC Riaz and FC Magnot. Your first stop in the seniors was the FC Red-Black Thun. After only a year of change for DFC Zuchwil followed (now FFC Zuchwil 05 ), which in 2006 became Vice-Champion and League Cup winner. This was followed by the change to SC LUwin.ch Lucerne. After a trial with 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam and signed it on January 8, 2008 there a contract until 30 June 2009. Their first league game they graduated 24 February 2008 in an away game against Hamburger SV. In 2009, she and her crew won the DFB Cup Hall and the German Championship. For the season 2009/10 she moved to Hamburger SV. After descent of the 1st FC Locomotive Leipzig in May 2012, Thalmann moved to Italian Serie A club ASD Torres Calcio.

Internationally

On June 17, 2007, she made her debut in goal for the Swiss national team. She is currently the number two behind Marisa Brunner from SC Freiburg. Previously Thalmann participated with the U-20 national team at the World Cup in Russia.
