Gagok

Gagok is a musical form of Korean vocal music for women 's and men's voice and instrumental ensemble.

Created in the 17th and 18th centuries form is composed of 26 parts, which can take several hours total. The individual parts are substantially set for women 's or men's voice. Only one part is sung as a duet.

Other forms of Korean art song are SiCHO ( short lyrical vocals) and kasa ( narrative singing ).
