Gaian Greens

Gaians are followers of a radical environmental movement, who see the ecology of the biosphere of the earth not only as the basis of human morality, but of all cognition and all knowledge. Proponents of this view argue that we are part of a large body ( the global ecology of the earth ), since we live trapped as part of the photosynthetic chain and in gravity.

This theory of value is also referred to as " environmental policy with radical values." Individuals and societies are ways to create such a thriving ecosystem, but even no components.

An early supporter was Richard Buckminster Fuller, who developed the Dymaxion World Map, the first projection that showed the continents with no discernible distortion on a flat surface and the earth as an island in an ocean. In Critical Path (1981 ), he wanted to prove that gravity was love. Critics say that people would be so reduced to " slaves of the earth." The human destiny is, however, to spread, to find many worlds and shape. Some Gaian again denote the colonists as locusts or a disease and make people look as elements of a single global ecology or an organism. They are often difficult to distinguish from members of the New Age Movement, with whom they share the goal of a deep spiritual integration.

Political Gaians are a relatively recent offshoot of the ecology movement and were prepared by the Gaia hypothesis, a scientific theory of James Lovelock, named. This states that the biosphere tends to homeorhetischen balance or even homeostasis, which implies that people should work towards such balances or conditions.

Gaian activists are sometimes referred to as " Terristen ", but this is controversial and provoked controversy. There is also no obvious or secure connections between the philosophy of the Gaian and the actions of " Terristen " or terrorists. In particular, New Age Gaian oppose such a designation, because their goals are not material but spiritual.
