Gail Davies

Gail Davies ( born June 5, 1948 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma as Patricia Gail Dickerson ), American country music singer and songwriter

As the daughter of country singer Tex Dickerson, Gail came even from his earliest childhood in touch with music. They began as a rock singer, switched to jazz and returned early seventies back to country music. Due to vocal cord problems she had to pause for some time. Without further ado, she decided to write songs, and bought for her first guitar.

Career

In 1984, Gail Davis the label. But even at RCA she was unable to repeat their earlier successes. She founded the group "Wild Choir" and acted there as a lead singer. Since also failed to commercial success, she tried it again soon as a solo singer, this time at MCA. Finally, Davies, which was as hard and clever negotiator worked as a producer at the Liberty label. In 1995, she founded her own record label "Little Chickadee Records ". Gail Davies is one of the most influential women of country music.
