Gailard Sartain

Gailard Sartain ( born September 18, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma) is an American actor and an illustrator and author.

Life

Sartain first visited the Will Rogers High School, then the University of Tulsa, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He then worked as a cameraman for the local TV station and moderated later in the night program the show, The Uncanny Film Festival and Camp Meeting, were broadcast in B-movies. To this end, he disguised himself as a magician and gave himself the stage name Dr. Mazeppa Pompaziodi. In the broadcast guest starred, among others, Gary Busey on (as Teddy Jack Eddy ).

He was discovered by a talent scout in 1972 and appeared in 20 episodes of the TV series Hee Haw with. He was also cast in the series Cher ( 1975-76 ) and Shields and Yarnell (1978). But he had not taken a role in the pilot episode of the series Walker, Texas Ranger, was in the series. He starred in numerous films, including Elizabethtown, Mississippi Burning, Ali.

Furthermore, Sartain is a successful illustrator and writes for several magazines as an author.
