Gali District, Abkhazia

The Rajon Gali ( Abkhaz Гал араион; Russian Галский район; Georgian გალის რაიონი / Galis Raioni ) is a raion ( district ) in the internationally recognized by only a few States the Republic of Abkhazia. Capital of Rajons is the city of Gali.

Population

In Rajon Gali lived in 2011 about 30,000 people, of whom the vast majority are ethnic Georgians and Mingrelians. Only in the village of Primorsk provide non- Georgian population groups a significant proportion of the population dar.
