Galija

Galija ( Serbian: for galley, but also means Gaul ) is a Serbian rock band from Niš.

The group led by the brothers Nenad and Predrag " Galija " actually Milosavljevic, was founded in Nis in 1977. Their first album was released in 1979. Since then the group has been counted among the most important in the rock music scene of Serbia and Yugoslavia. The group was said to have a close to Milošević government, so it was quiet around them after the protests and mass demonstrations on 5 October 2000. Her latest album " Dobro jutro, to sam ja" ( Good morning, that's me) was released in 2005, six years after their last album " Južnjačka uteha " ( southern comfort ) 1999.
