Gall Morel

Gall Morel ( born March 24, 1803 in St. Fiden, † December 16, 1872 in Einsiedeln ) was Chaplain at the Benedictine monastery of Einsiedeln. Professionally, he worked as a teacher and librarian. Its merit is to expand the existing monastery library to 27,000 books and manuscripts. He gave, inter alia, also The Flowing Light of the Godhead out of Mechthild of Magdeburg.
