Galle Face Green

The Galle Face Green is a 500 m long green strip with beach promenade in Sri Lanka's capital Colombo on the Indian Ocean.

The five -acre lawn between Galle Road and the beach in the midst of the financial and business center of Colombo is the largest open space in the city. The recreational area is also used by business people such as families or kitesurfers. In addition to any other luxury hotel here is the existing since 1864 known Galle Face Hotel.
