Gallia Club Paris

The Gallia Club Paris was a French football club. Their most successful period had the " taps " - les coqs after the Gallic emblem - between the beginning of the 20th century and the first years after the First World War.

History

The Gallia Club emerged from the AS Charenton founded in 1896, the football matches played only sporadically and at varying places in the east of Paris. Around the turn of the century drew Georges Bayrou from the Languedoc to the capital tied up in the ASC his football boots and took over together with other players, the organization of the club, which they in Gallia Club renamed and, as a member of the USFSA, the then single sports federation in France the footballers recorded, anmeldeten.
