Gambian Workers' Confederation

The Gambian Workers' Confederation ( GWC ) is a trade union in the West African nation of Gambia, based in Banjul. It is affiliated to the International Trade Union Confederation ( ITUC = International Trade Union Confederation ).

The International Centre for Trade Union Rights ( ICTUR ) reported that Secretary Pa Moudou KB Faal was arrested by the National Intelligence Agency ( NIA) twice when he planned and April 1997 in December 1996 to travel abroad.
