Gametophore

The technical term Gametophor or Gametangiophor (of gametangium and Greek Φορά, phor, " Born to be " German, so " Gametangienträger ", or " Gametangienstand " ) is in mosses and ferns ( Archegoniata ) the name of the carrier of reproductive organs, the archegonia and antheridia of.
