Ganado (Navajo: Lók'aahnteel ) is a settlement in Apache County in the U.S. state of Arizona. It has 1,505 inhabitants 23 km ²; so is the population density of 64.9 inhabitants per km ². The city is 1946 meters above sea level west below the maximum of 2400 m high Defiance Plateau. Ganado heard as Chapter for Navajo Nation, the self-governing territory of the Navajo and therefore has no status as a municipality or city.

Other attractions in the settlement of the Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site, a commercial station heard from the year 1876. It was acquired in 1965 by National Park Service and is operated by these active as a single business enterprise in the traditional style. In another environment, the Canyon De Chelly National Monument (50 km north ) and the Petrified Forest National Park are (85 km south).
